About Cultivo

Cultivo is a leading platform for developing and operating natural assets. Our mission is to accelerate investment into natural assets at scale to build healthy and resilient landscapes. We partner with institutional investors and multinational corporations who view nature as essential infrastructure. Our model generates financial returns through payments for services, primarily carbon removal, unlocked by land regeneration activities.

Our technology and data-driven approach streamline the entire project lifecycle—from origination to management and monitoring—ensuring trust and integrity at every step. As a Public Benefit Corporation, we are committed to regenerating natural landscapes in partnership with land stewards to safeguard critical natural infrastructure and services.

We are a diverse, international team that moves fast, holds a high bar for rigor, and believes deeply that how we work matters as much as what we achieve. 🤝

About The Role

We're seeking a bilingual Project Manager with high agency to join our Operations & Project Success team. This role is pivotal in delivering Cultivo's commitments—owning the execution of live natural capital projects, especially within our Latin America and Mexico-based programs, while supporting other projects in our global pipeline.

This position requires proactive leadership—identifying needs, mobilizing resources, solving problems, and driving project success across complex, multi-stakeholder environments involving different countries, cultures, and technical disciplines. You'll collaborate directly with ranchers, landowners, technical partners, auditors, scientists, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential, as you'll communicate and build relationships daily in both languages with excellent proficiency.

This role reports to our Senior Manager of Project Success, based in San Francisco.

What You'll Do

  • Project Execution & Delivery
    • Own end-to-end management of grassland regeneration and other natural projects—planning, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV)
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers; address issues proactively
    • Ensure delivery of project KPIs—acreage targets, MRV timelines, and budgets—maintaining visibility into performance
    • Coordinate field operations, soil sampling, data collection, and workflows across sites and regions
    • Implement and uphold Cultivo’s SOPs for consistency and quality assurance
    • Ensure compliance with carbon registry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal frameworks
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders—landowners, ranchers, partners, auditors, communities—nurturing relationships in both languages
    • Manage contractor and supplier relationships, including sourcing, onboarding, and contracts
    • Provide clear project updates to internal and external teams; flag risks and suggest solutions
    • Navigate complex multi-party dynamics with diplomacy, building trust across diverse stakeholders
  • Operational Excellence & Systems Building
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management systems and templates
    • Provide feedback on Cultivo’s technology platforms based on project experience
    • Support company-wide operational planning and resource allocation
