We're Hiring: Project Manager – Western MapleStory Development Team 🚀

Are you highly organized, proactive, and passionate about gaming? We are seeking a talented Project Manager to support our MapleStory Classic World project, ensuring smooth operations, milestone achievement, and effective team communication. Join us and help shape the future of one of our most beloved franchises!

🌟 Summary Of Position

The Project Manager will oversee daily project operations, manage schedules, and coordinate with internal developers and external partners. This hybrid role requires working in our office 2-3 days a week, actively driving project milestones and resolving challenges to sustain development momentum.

🔧 Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project roadmap, milestone schedules, and Jira workflows
• Produce regular status & risk reports; escalate and resolve issues proactively
• Facilitate meetings, take action-oriented notes, and ensure timely follow-up
• Allocate resources effectively and adapt plans as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

💼 Work Experience & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Producer in game or software development (video game industry preferred)
• Bonus: Experience leading cross-departmental coordination or shipping a live title

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field

🔑 Knowledge & Skills

Required

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Solid experience with Jira and understanding of Agile workflows and game development pipelines
• Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure and stakeholder management skills
• Professional fluency in Korean and English (both written and spoken)

Preferred

• Passion for and experience playing Global MapleStory or earlier versions of the game
• Experience in cross-cultural or international game development environments

💰 Compensation & Additional Info

Annual Salary Range in El Segundo, CA: $80,000 - $100,000

Salary is determined based on market data, experience, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. The listed salary reflects the base pay only, part of the total rewards package.
