We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead complex Project Finance deals in energy, TMT, and infrastructure sectors across the EMEA region, with a focus on Italy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative environment.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, arranging, structuring, and executing sophisticated Project Finance transactions. Based in Milano, they will play a key role in shaping our projects within the energy, TMT, and infrastructure sectors.

Main Responsibilities

• Support Transaction Origination: Facilitate the initiation of Project Finance deals across diverse markets; develop and nurture relationships with clients, lenders, and advisors 🤝.
• Sector & Market Expertise: Possess solid understanding of Project Finance sectors (energy, TMT, infrastructure) and international financial markets.
• Deal Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of deals—from origination to financial closing—including financial structuring, modeling, due diligence, and documentation. Handle projects independently.
• Financial Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, accounting, tax, legal concepts, cash flow analysis, and derivatives related to Project Finance 🧮.
• Documentation & Structuring: Produce and negotiate complex project finance documents (term sheets, credit agreements, etc.) and structure diverse financing options.
• Credit & Risk Analysis: Conduct credit assessments, prepare reports, and collaborate with Credit Risk teams effectively.
• Presentations & Communication: Deliver compelling oral and written presentations for client pitches and internal stakeholders 🎤.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate smoothly across internal departments (client relations, legal, risk, advisory) and external parties (clients, lenders, advisors).

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in project finance, investment banking, or related fields such as construction energy firms.
• Proven track record in leading and executing large-scale project finance mandates, especially within energy, infrastructure, or TMT sectors.
• Involvement in successfully winning and managing project finance advisory or lead arranging roles.
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Formal credit training is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines and within team environments.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and all Microsoft Office tools.
