Compensation & Work Schedule 💰

  • Salary Range: $6,044 - $7,651 Monthly
  • Additional Salary Info: Based on the 2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule. (Salary placement depends on education and experience.)
  • Length of Work Year: 40 hours/week, 12 months, Full-Time (1 FTE)

Job Summary 🔍

Assigned to the Alternative Education Department, the Project Coordinator will:

  • Research and develop grant funding sources
  • Manage grant timelines and submit proposals
  • Conduct grant evaluations
  • Establish partnerships with community-based organizations
  • Recruit interns, work experience students, and volunteers
  • Assist with public affairs activities

Qualifications & Requirements ✅

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business or a related field
  • Experience: Four years of administrative experience involving project coordination and grant writing
  • License/Certificate: Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one)

Application Process 🎯

Applicants must submit a completed application, preferably with a résumé attached. The selection process includes:

  • Written Examination (50%)
  • Oral Examination (50%) covering relevant knowledge and skills
  • Top candidates will be interviewed for final selection

The eligibility list remains valid for six months unless supply of candidates is exhausted. Reasonable accommodations can be requested prior to testing. Bilingual proficiency is tested via oral exam to qualify for stipends (2.5% for Bilingual, 5% for Biliterate). Selected candidates will undergo onboarding, fingerprinting, and provide a negative tuberculosis test clearance, valid for four years.
