Join Our Team as a Program Coordinator for Graduate Jewish Education 🌟

We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to support the Director of Graduate Jewish Education. If you have a passion for education, administration, and building meaningful partnerships, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Graduate School of Education (GSE).

Overview

In this role, you will provide vital support in areas such as recruitment, conference coordination, and various administrative tasks related to the Program and operational functions of GSE. You will interact with faculty, students, external educational partners, and prospective applicants to foster a vibrant academic community.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain databases of candidate and graduate information
• Assist faculty and adjuncts in designing courses via Canvas Learning Management System
• Provide administrative support to the Director and faculty for new courses and certificate programs
• Support recruitment efforts, including outreach to new Memo of Understanding (MOU) cohorts
• Host advisement sessions—both one-on-one and group—for prospective students
• Manage administration of MOU partnership cohorts
• Oversee operational aspects of conferences and special programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in Education or a related field preferred
• Some administrative experience necessary

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) 💬
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently
• Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork 🤝
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficiency in Zoom videoconferencing 🎥
• Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System is a plus
• Ability to read and understand Hebrew is a plus

Travel

Occasional travel within the tri-state area may be required for conference attendance and planning.

Compensation

• Maximum Salary: USD $58,000.00 per year 💰
• Minimum Salary: USD $46,400.00 per year 💵
