We are looking for a skilled Production Planner to orchestrate efficient manufacturing schedules, ensuring timely delivery and seamless coordination across departments in a dynamic environment.

🔹 Position Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to guarantee the timely manufacturing and delivery of products. This role involves coordinating demand, materials, and capacity to maximize efficiency while minimizing delays and inventory imbalances.

📝 Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
  • Align production plans with customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels
  • Prioritize work orders and adjust schedules based on changing demands
  • Monitor schedule adherence and communicate deviations

Material Planning & Coordination

  • Ensure availability of raw materials and components for production
  • Coordinate with procurement on material shortages and lead times
  • Track inventory levels and support inventory control efforts

ERP / MRP System Management

  • Generate and manage work orders within ERP/MRP systems
  • Maintain accurate data including BOMs, lead times, and routing
  • Analyze system outputs to improve planning accuracy

Cross-Functional Communication 🤝

  • Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Engineering, and Korea HQ
  • Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities clearly
  • Support any production schedule and engineering changes

Performance Monitoring & Reporting 📊

  • Track key metrics such as schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and inventory levels
  • Identify planning gaps and recommend improvements
  • Prepare reports on production performance for management

🎓 Qualifications

Education & Experience 🎓

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain

Skills & Competencies 🛠️

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Bilingual in English and Korean

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of demand planning or forecasting
  • APICS certification (CPIM) is a plus

⚙️ Working Conditions

  • Office-based with regular interaction on the production floor
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs
