📝 Position Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules to guarantee efficient manufacturing and delivery. This role requires coordinating demand, materials, and capacity to optimize operations while minimizing delays and inventory imbalances.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules 🗓️
• Align production plans with customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels 📈
• Prioritize work orders and adjust schedules based on changing demands 🔄
• Monitor schedule adherence and communicate deviations 📢

Material Planning & Coordination

• Ensure raw materials and components are available for production 🧱
• Collaborate with procurement on material shortages and lead times 🚚
• Track inventory levels and support inventory control efforts 📊

ERP / MRP System Management

• Generate and manage work orders within ERP/MRP systems 💻
• Maintain accurate data, including BOMs, lead times, and routing 📝
• Analyze system outputs to enhance planning accuracy ⚙️

Cross-Functional Communication

• Work with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Engineering, and Korea HQ 🤝
• Clearly communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities 📣
• Support production schedule and engineering modifications 🔧

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track key metrics such as adherence, on-time delivery, and inventory levels 📊
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements 💡
• Prepare management reports on production performance 📝

🎓 Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience) 🎓
• 25+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain 🔧

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities 📊
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite 💻
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis) 📑
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environments ⚡
• Excellent communication and coordination skills 🗣️
• Bilingual in English and Korean 🇺🇸🇰🇷

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments 🏭
• Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting 🔮
• APICS certification (CPIM) is a plus 🎖️
