🔍 Job Overview

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Fulfilment Manager

This position is responsible for planning production scheduling based on forecast, material availability, production turnaround time, and customer requirements.

📋 Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate production schedules: Establish order priorities and manage material availability.
• Coordinate seamlessly: Work with other departments to ensure timely and accurate production plans.
• Analyze and report: Prepare relevant production reports and analyses.
• Collaborate in decision-making: Share insights with Production Manager/Supervisor based on material status and order priorities.
• Material planning: Schedule, coordinate, and expedite material issues for the production floor.
• Inventory management: Ensure effective management of inventory and material transactions via work orders.
• Tackle schedule disruptions: Address material shortages, backlogs, or other issues that may impact production timelines.
• Customer interfacing: Communicate directly with customers over daily shipping activities.
• Shipment follow-up: Monitor critical shipments from material receipt through production to shipping dock as needed.
• Additional duties: Perform other assigned tasks as required.

🏢 Office Environment

This role is based in Houston, not remote. It follows a hybrid model with expectations to be in-office during the workday.

🧠 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Ability to function independently and multi-task effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with SAP
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment
• Previous experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) is preferred

🎓 Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree (AS) required; Bachelor’s Degree (BS) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of production control experience in electronic system integration, either in OEM or Contract Manufacturing (CM) environments
• Bilingual in Spanish is required
• APICS certification is a plus
