Position Overview 🔍

Summary

The Product Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a live operations product, ensuring all related information is accurate, and engaging with fan feedback to enhance the gaming experience. This role offers a potential career path toward becoming an Associate Producer.

Key Responsibilities 🛠️

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese development teams and GungHo America’s production team for live operations.
  • Monitor product updates, maintenance, and in-game messaging to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with social media and marketing teams to gather and request relevant information.
  • Share fan feedback with development teams to inform future updates.
  • Translate informational materials accurately between Japanese and English (both written and verbal).
  • Provide feedback on marketing materials and check the correctness of in-game and official messaging.
  • Support the fan community by creating proposals for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise for live events.
  • Assist with KPI data analysis to optimize communication timings and releases.

Qualifications & Experience ✅

  • Proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and spoken) at a business level.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of localization or similar experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for business as needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the gaming industry.

Nice to Have:

  • Marketing experience or related background.
  • Proven results in a data-driven environment.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.

Work Details & Compensation 💼

Business Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Pacific Time

Salary Range: $50,000 – $56,000 annually
