Description

General Purpose:

The Bilingual Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist position offers a remote (telecommute) opportunity to provide specialized patient reviews and drug therapy recommendations for eligible members of our insurer, in languages other than English.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 📝

• Perform telephonic comprehensive medication reviews
• Update patient profiles based on review findings
• Identify and discuss Drug Therapy Problems to optimize patient medication therapy and reduce adverse drug reactions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance and develop our Optimize software
• Complete at least 2 Clinical Medication Reviews (CMRs) per hour
• Assist the Clinical team in achieving proficiency and quality objectives

• Establish positive partnerships across various business groups, both internally and externally

Education & Experience 🎓

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacy license
• Secure high-speed internet access (preferably via Ethernet)
• HIPAA-secure workspace with NO background noise
• Must be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese

Minimum Physical Requirements 💪

The Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist will work in a HIPAA-secure environment with no background noise, utilizing standard office equipment. The following are essential physical demands:

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Bend, twist, or stoop repeatedly and continuously
• Stand and remain on feet for extended periods
• Operate computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, requiring manual dexterity
• Sit and focus for long periods for data review and interpretation
• Read paperwork and computer screens with adequate visual acuity
