Role Overview
The primary care physician at Oak Street Health is committed to delivering equitable, value-based healthcare tailored to local Medicare populations within our innovative network of neighborhood clinics. Operating within a collaborative, single-center environment supported by large care teams, our physicians can focus on providing quality care rather than volume. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients at local clinics
- Oversee and manage primary care services
- Prescribe medications and pharmaceutical treatments
- Maintain Electronic Medical Records via Canopy and Greenway
- Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality goals
- Partner with Practice Managers to direct the center care team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- Active DEA license
- US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics
- Experience working with Geriatric populations
- Experience in a Value-Based Healthcare Model
- Background in outpatient primary care settings
- Bilingual proficiency where applicable
- Experience in collaborative healthcare environments aimed at positive outcomes
Additional Details
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation Range: $174,070.00 – $374,920.00 annually
Note: The final offer depends on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This range reflects the base salary and hourly wages for roles within this job grade.
