Role Overview 🎯

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be vital in providing comprehensive, high-quality, patient-focused care. You will manage a panel of patients, concentrating on prevention, chronic disease management, and acute care, with the essential requirement of fluency in Korean, as a majority of our patients are seniors who primarily speak Korean.

We value physicians passionate about primary care and dedicated to building long-term relationships. You will have the autonomy to tailor individualized care within a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities 📝

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient environment.
  • Conduct routine office visits, manage acute medical concerns, and oversee chronic conditions.
  • Perform annual wellness visits and health risk assessments.
  • Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment strategies, and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, diagnostic centers, and healthcare providers.
  • Utilize telemedicine for follow-up and consultations as appropriate.
  • Participate in care team discussions to ensure best practices in patient management.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient encounters.
  • Engage in population health initiatives, including routine screenings and preventive care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 📋

  • MD degree with board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics.
  • Fluency in Korean is mandatory.
  • Experience working with Medicare patients and seniors is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical documentation, coding (ICD-10, HCC), and risk adjustment practices.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration.
  • Medicare enrollment in good standing or eligibility to enroll.
  • Passion for primary care and patient-centered medicine.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment and embrace healthcare technology.
