Position: Primary Care Physician - Bilingual in Cantonese required

Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 *Wider range available depending on experience and location

Role Overview 🚑

The primary role of a Primary Care Physician at Oak Street Health is to deliver equitable, effective, value-based healthcare to Medicare patients within our innovative neighborhood clinics. Operating within a supportive medical center and large care teams, our physicians focus on quality over volume, fostering better outcomes, lower hospital admissions, preventive care, and an exceptional patient experience.

We welcome physicians driven to provide compassionate, high-quality care to older adults. Recent medical school graduates are encouraged to apply!

Highly qualified candidates may also be considered for a Center Medical Director position.

Responsibilities 📝

• Assess and diagnose patients at our local clinics
• Oversee, direct, and administer primary care services
• Prescribe and manage pharmaceutical treatments and medications
• Maintain Electronic Medical Records via Canopy and Greenway systems
• Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet healthcare quality targets
• Partner with Practice Managers to lead the care team at the center
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications ✅

Required:

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) graduate
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification (or eligible)
• Active, non-probationary, unrestricted State Medical License
• Active DEA license
• Legal US work authorization

Preferred:

• Fellowship training in Geriatrics
• Experience practicing medicine with Geriatric populations
• Experience within a Value-Based Healthcare Model
• Experience in collaborative, outcome-driven settings
• Background in outpatient primary care
• Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English (where applicable)

Work Schedule & Compensation ⏰

Expected Weekly Hours: 40

Full Time

Pay Range: $174,070 - $374,920

This range reflects base salary or hourly rate, with actual offers influenced by experience, education, location, and other factors.
