What You'll Do

• Translate user interfaces across all Chess.com apps (Chess.com, Chess.com Mobile, ChessKid, ChessKid Mobile, Dr Wolf, etc.) 💻
• Assist in translating marketing campaigns to reach a global audience 🌍
• Translate Coach analysis content to support our educational tools 🎓
• Localize player profile pages, chess terminology, news articles, tournament recaps, and important announcements 📰
• Edit and translate graphical assets ensuring high-quality localization 🎨
• Review past translations to maintain consistency and quality standards ✅

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic graphic editing skills 🖌️
• Deep understanding of chess terminology and concepts ♟️
• Proven experience translating complex texts between English and Polish 📄
• Exceptional linguistic competence, including language theory and structure 📚
• Native or near-native fluency in both English and Polish 🌐
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness, with ability to collaborate via platforms like Slack 💬
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, sometimes within 24-48 hours, including weekends and holidays ⏳
• Flexible availability averaging 30 hours per week 🕒
