Basic Function

As a seasoned interpretation professional, you will support training students by guiding them through interpretation practice sessions, utilizing ALTA’s curriculum and methods to foster skill development. 📝

Responsibilities

• Deliver telephonic and/or video-remote coaching sessions
• Complete feedback reports promptly
• Maintain excellent and punctual communication
• Follow ALTA curriculum and teaching methods faithfully
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on materials and processes
• Provide superior customer service to ALTA students
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Training

• Certificate from a reputable 40-hour medical interpreter training course
• National Certification in Interpretation (Preferred)
• Graduate of Breaking Boundaries in Healthcare (Preferred)
• College degree from a four-year institution
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual and computer functions

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years professional interpretation experience post-training
• At least 1 year of experience as both contracted and staff interpreter

Salary

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00 – $40.00 per hour. Actual compensation depends on several factors, including:

• Languages coached
• Educational background and certifications
• Experience and skill level
• Location and market conditions
• Other demographic and organizational factors
