Key Responsibilities
- Data Consolidation & Reporting: Standardize and compile operational, financial, and planning data into comprehensive reports and forecasting tools on a monthly, annual, and medium-term basis.
- KPI & Performance Support: Support KPI reporting, capacity planning, budgeting, and standard cost preparation aligned with plant and corporate standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a vital link between plant operations and corporate stakeholders to ensure accurate data validation and communication.
- Performance Analysis: Collaborate with Production Management, Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain, and corporate teams for ongoing performance evaluation.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare reports on business performance, energy use, decarbonization initiatives, and investment proposals, including submissions to headquarters.
- Data Quality Improvement: Utilize advanced Excel techniques and reconciliation practices to enhance data accuracy and validation.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain rigorous documentation standards and adhere to reporting cycles in line with company guidelines.
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in production control, operations planning, supply chain analytics, or manufacturing reporting (preferably in tire/automotive manufacturing)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query); strong data validation and reconciliation skills
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing metrics such as capacity, utilization, inventory, and costs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with the capability to produce executive-ready reports
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and disciplined documentation habits
- Japanese / English bilingual proficiency
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in tire or automotive manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of energy and decarbonization reporting within manufacturing contexts
- Understanding of investment approval processes and international corporate HQ submissions
- Exposure to cross-functional global project teams
