Overview

VNS Health Physical Therapists assist New Yorkers in regaining mobility and independence, helping them heal outside of hospital settings. You will design personalized 1:1 rehabilitative programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or accidents, and assess their progress through daily interactions. What You Will Do 📝

• Practice independently within the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop treatment plans
• Deliver personalized rehabilitation therapy at patients' homes or care facilities
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed

Qualifications ✅

• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience or successful completion of probation as a VNS Health Rehab Intern
• Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State
• Valid driver’s license required for areas outside Manhattan

Pay Range Per Visit 💰

If applying for the per diem, per visit position, the standard rates are as follows:

Location-Based Rates 📍

• All areas except the Bronx and parts of Brooklyn (Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Greenpoint): $70-$75 per visit
• Bronx: Weekday visits - $95 | Weekend visits - $100
• Brooklyn (Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Greenpoint): Weekday visits - $95 | Weekend visits - $100

Salary Range 💵

Annual salary ranges from USD $85,000 to USD $127,500.
