Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician to support all functions within our Genoa mental health pharmacy. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Working Hours & Location
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm; Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff 😊
- Filling prescription orders and ensuring their verification with oversight from a Registered Pharmacist
- Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmacy supplies 🗃️
- Processing wholesaler medication orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through data entry
- Assisting the Pharmacist with pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Performing clerical duties as needed
- Communicating effectively with team members and patients 🗣️
- Supporting other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license
- Ability to work onsite at our Bay Shore location for 35 hours weekly
Preferred
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry
