Position: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician

Support the daily functions of our mental health pharmacy by dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Work Schedule & Location

• Hours: 35 hours weekly
• Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 9:00am-3:00pm
• Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff 😊
• Fill prescription orders and verify them under pharmacist supervision
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies 📦
• Process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records in computer systems
• Assist pharmacists to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Perform clerical tasks related to pharmacy operations
• Communicate professionally via verbal and written channels
• Other duties as assigned

The hourly pay ranges from $16.15 to $28.80, depending on experience, education, and certifications, with full-time employment. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws.

Qualifications

Required

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
• Ability to work onsite at the specified Bay Shore location

Preferred

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry
