Position Overview: Bilingual Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of our mental health pharmacy at the Bay Shore location. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Work Schedule & Location

• Hours: 35 hours weekly
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm; Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706
• Flexibility: The team is flexible on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records in the computer
• Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform clerical duties relevant to the department
• Communicate professionally via verbal and written channels
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license
• Ability to work on-site at the Bay Shore location for 35 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York State
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience in pharmacy and prescription data entry

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay ranges from $16.15 to $28.80, depending on experience, education, and certifications. In addition to salary, we offer:
