Position: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician

Support the Genoa mental health pharmacy by dispensing prescriptions, performing clerical duties, all under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Work Details

• Hours: 35 hours weekly
  Office hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Fridays 9:00am–3:00pm
  Lunch Break: 12:30pm–1:00pm
  Flexibility in schedule available
• Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff 😊
• Fill prescription orders and verify them under pharmacist supervision
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
• Process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and update inventory records
• Assist in pharmacy functions ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Perform clerical duties related to the pharmacy department
• Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish proficiency
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver's license 🚗
• Ability to work onsite at our Bay Shore location for 35 hours weekly

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $16.15 to $28.80 based on factors such as experience, education, and certifications. In addition to salary, we offer:
