Join Our Team as a Personal Banker SAFE Act

Embark on an entry-level role dedicated to fostering customer relationships, increasing sales, and providing exceptional banking services in a supportive environment. 🚀

Role Overview

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is responsible for assisting in sales, product, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal is to build customer loyalty and drive sales growth among individual consumer clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage credit requests under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and cross-sell treasury and small business products.
  • Generate referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program.
  • Develop strategies to grow small business clients by implementing targeted sales plans.
  • Deliver client service via outbound and inbound calls, expanding existing relationships and acquiring new ones through relevant product cross-selling while ensuring an exceptional client experience. 📞✨
  • Coach branch staff on products, special programs, client needs, and appropriate referrals.
  • Identify client transaction needs, educate them on services and digital channels, and leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present financial solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and regulations, maintaining ethical standards and managing risk responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 0-2 years in relevant fields
  • Preferred: Banking, retail, or sales experience
  • Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
  • NMLS registration and Safe Act compliance
  • Strong communication skills: Clear, concise written and verbal communication

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
