About the Role

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is a foundational position responsible for supporting sales, product, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal is to foster strong customer relationships, enhance loyalty, and increase sales to individual consumers.

Responsibilities

• Handle business credit requests under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and cross-sell treasury and small business products 🤝
• Build referral networks through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program 🔗
• Develop strategies to grow small business clients and execute targeted sales plans for your Book of Business 📈
• Engage clients via outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services 🌟
• Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on products, client needs, and referral opportunities 🗣️
• Recognize transaction needs, educate clients on all service channels, and leverage technological tools to uncover opportunities and present financial solutions 💻💡
• Ensure compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures 📋
• Assess risk thoughtfully in all business decisions, maintaining ethical standards, and escalating issues transparently 🔎

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in banking, retail, or sales preferred
• Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant ✔️
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 💬
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (preferred) 🈵

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree, University degree, or equivalent experience 🎓
