About the Role 🤝

The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level position focused on assisting with sales, product, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal is to foster customer loyalty and increase sales with individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle business credit requests under $250K, identify/refer larger lending opportunities, and cross-sell treasury and small business products 💼
• Create referral opportunities via Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program 🔗
• Assist in developing strategies to grow small business clients and implement targeted sales plans for Book of Business customers 📈
• Conduct outbound and inbound client calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones through cross-selling relevant products and services 🤝
• Provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, client needs, and relevant referrals 🗣️
• Recognize client transaction needs, educate clients on all service and digital channels, and leverage technology and marketing tools to identify opportunities and present financial solutions 💻
• Ensure compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures ✅
• Assess risks prudently, ensuring the firm’s reputation is safeguarded by complying with applicable laws and regulations, upholding ethical standards, and managing control issues transparently ⚠️

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in banking, retail, or sales preferred
• Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance ✅
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 🗣️

Education

Bachelor's Degree, university degree, or equivalent experience 🎓

Salary range: $61,280.00 - $85,520.00 (full-time)
