About the Role

The Personal Banker Safe Act is an entry-level position focused on assisting with sales, product delivery, and customer service activities. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with clients, foster loyalty, and support the expansion of our customer base through personalized service and proactive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with credit requests under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and promote treasury and small business products.
• Develop referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) program.
• Support strategies to grow small business client relationships and implement targeted sales plans for your Book of Business.
• Conduct client service calls—outbound and inbound—to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones via cross-selling relevant products and services.
• Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on product offerings, client needs, and referral opportunities.
• Identify client transaction needs, educate clients on service channels and digital tools, and leverage marketing resources to uncover opportunities and present financial solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Citi policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess risks appropriately in all business decisions, demonstrating sound judgment and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Preferences

• Fluency in English and Russian is preferred.
• Previous experience in banking or customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Motivated to learn new skills and grow within the organization.
