About This Role 🏦

We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about our career areas at wellsfargojobs.com.

What You'll Do 🤝

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach 🚀
  • Assist customers with account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Follow directions from managers and exercise judgment within policies and procedures
  • Develop knowledge of bank products and services to meet customer needs
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate care and foster relationships ❤️
  • Provide tailored options for banking products and services
  • Refer customers to other bankers and partners as needed
  • This SAFE position involves customer contact, including offering and negotiating terms and processing dwelling-secured transactions, adhering to the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations

Qualifications & Skills 🎯

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of customer interaction experience, demonstrated through work, training, military, or education
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience with complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Proactive outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to educate customers on technology and mobile banking
  • Experience in fostering strong customer relationships and working with teams
  • Capability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
  • Military experience, including working with protocol, personnel benefits, or leadership
  • Proficiency in sourcing and maintaining customer and colleague relationships
  • Commitment to integrity and professionalism

Job Expectations ⚙️

  • Availability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Pass required language assessments
  • Manage cash drawer and perform service-related tasks
  • Maintain SAFE registration upon employment (initiated by Wells Fargo)
  • Must meet all regulatory and licensing requirements, including background checks and credit assessments
  • Note: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range: $23.00 – $31.00 per hour (based on experience, skills, and location). Incentive opportunities may be available.
