About This Role

We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about careers at wellsfargojobs.com.

Key Responsibilities 📝

• 🤝 Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach
• 💳 Assist customers with opening accounts, processing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• 🎯 Exercise judgment within policies under the guidance of managers
• 📚 Develop a thorough understanding of bank products and needs-based solutions
• 💖 Show care and build meaningful customer relationships
• 🛍️ Offer suitable bank products and refer customers to other bankers when appropriate
• 🏠 Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008, including offering/negotiating terms and processing mortgage applications

Qualifications & Skills ✅

Required

• 🔹 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent via work, military, education)
• 🔹 Bilingual proficiency in Spanish & English (if applicable)

Desired

• 🌟 Customer-focused with experience handling complex transactions
• 📞 Skilled in proactive outreach via phone or email
• 💻 Able to educate customers on mobile banking and digital tools
• 🤝 Experienced in team collaboration and relationship building
• 🚨 Capable of identifying fraud/risky accounts and acting appropriately
• 🎖️ Military experience related to personnel, benefits, or leadership roles (if applicable)
• 🔧 Proficient in sourcing and maintaining customer relationships
• 🤗 Supportive in resolving customer and employee concerns

Job Expectations 🚦

• 🗓️ Availability to work most Saturdays
• 📝 Must pass the required language assessment
• 💰 Manage cash drawer and handle balance for cash transactions
• 📜 Must obtain SAFE registration immediately after start date
• 🚫 Not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Compensation 💵

The base pay range for this position is $23.00 - $31.00 per hour. Salary may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Incentive opportunities may also be available.
