About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a dedicated Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about our career opportunities at wellsfargojobs.com.

In This Role, You Will:

  • 🤝 Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and suggesting suitable products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
  • 📝 Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • 🎯 Follow directions from managers and exercise judgment within established policies and procedures.
  • 🔍 Develop an understanding of bank products and services to meet customer needs effectively.
  • ❤️ Interact with customers to demonstrate care and foster trust.
  • 💼 Provide tailored options for bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • 🔗 Refer clients to other bankers and partners for comprehensive financial solutions.
  • 🔐 This SAFE position involves customer contact, including offering/negotiating terms and applications for dwelling-secured transactions. Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 is required, with ongoing employment contingent on meeting all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 🕒 At least 6+ months of customer interaction experience through work, training, military service, or education.
  • 🗣️ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English (speaking and listening).

Preferred Attributes and Experience:

  • Customer service expertise handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Proactive outreach via phone or email.
  • Knowledge of digital banking and ability to educate customers about mobile banking benefits.
  • Experience working within teams to meet customer needs and foster relationships.
  • Ability to build strong internal partnerships and follow policies/regulations.
  • Attention to potential fraud or risky accounts, with appropriate action-taking.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant military experience, including personnel management, wartime operations, or leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and maintaining customer relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to resolve or escalate concerns effectively.

Job Expectations

  • Availability to work on most Saturdays.
  • Must pass a language assessment.
  • Handle cash, balance drawers, and complete service tasks as required.

  • Loan Originator (LO) qualification standards apply for those involved in mortgage transactions.

Compensation & Benefits 💰

The base pay range for this position is $23.00 - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and location. Incentive opportunities may also be available.
