About This Role

We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about career opportunities at wellfargojobs.com.

Key Responsibilities 📝

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Build relationships through proactive outreach and recommend suitable products, services, and digital solutions to support customers' financial success.
  • Assist Customers: Handle basic requests like opening accounts, service requests, and credit applications.
  • Follow Guidance & Exercise Judgment: Operate within policies and procedures under the direction of managers.
  • Understand Bank Products: Connect products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Interaction: Show care, foster relationships, and provide tailored options.
  • Referral & Collaboration: Refer customers to specialists and collaborate with partners when applicable.
  • Compliance & Licensing: Adhere to the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations. Ongoing employment depends on meeting these requirements and passing background checks.

Qualifications & Skills ⭐

Required 📌

  • Minimum of 6 months experience interacting with customers, demonstrated through work, education, military service, or training.

Desired 🏆

  • Strong customer service skills, especially managing complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience engaging with customers via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate customers on technology and promote mobile banking.
  • Proven ability to help customers succeed financially and connect with team members.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to recognize and prevent potential fraud or risky accounts.
  • Professional interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Military experience related to protocol, personnel management, or leadership is a plus.
  • Proficiency in sourcing, maintaining, and developing relationships.

Job Expectations ⚙️

  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Manage cash drawer, balance cash, and complete service-related tasks.
  • Must register for SAFE at the start of employment via NMLS.
  • Meet ongoing regulatory and background requirements, including credit and criminal checks.
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Compensation 💰

The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $30.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on performance, skills, experience, and location. Incentive opportunities may also be available.
