About the Role

As a valued team member, you will provide comprehensive pediatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children of all ages. Your work will support families through preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic condition oversight, all within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.

Key Duties

• Physical Examinations: Conduct thorough assessments utilizing strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Condition Management: Handle acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including pain management and infectious diseases, with proficiency in triage and emergency response.
• Procedures: Administer injections, perform suturing, and use aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Documentation: Use electronic health records such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation, vital signs, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, participate in clinical research, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Telehealth & Education: Support telehealth consultations, outpatient visits, and provide pediatric health coaching and education.
• Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and security.

Qualifications

• Licenses & Certifications: Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with pediatric specialization; Bilingual fluency in Korean and English is essential.
• Experience: Proven pediatric or related clinical experience (emergency medicine, urgent care, hospital medicine); trauma center experience is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with CPT and ICD coding preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in physical exams, diagnostics, medication administration, and patient assessments.
• Additional Knowledge: Infection control, aseptic techniques, and advanced procedures are advantageous.
• Pressure Handling: Capable of managing high-pressure situations with excellent triage skills; hospital inpatient or outpatient clinic experience is a plus.
