About the Role
We are seeking a thorough and tech-savvy Technical Support & Document Accessibility Remediator to join our expanding team. This cross-functional role combines customer support, technical writing, document editing, and accessibility expertise to ensure our clients' digital content is inclusive and user-friendly for all.
In this position, you will support clients by troubleshooting digital accessibility issues and remediating digital documents such as PDFs, Word files, and PowerPoints to comply with accessibility standards like WCAG, Section 508, and Standard 5568. You will also develop user guides, assist with software installation, and support customers in utilizing our tools.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office or customer sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Remediate documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to meet accessibility standards.
- Provide daily technical support to customers, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Create clear user guides and support documentation.
- Guide onboarding new customers through setup and training processes.
- Assist in product QA by identifying bugs, testing new features, and offering feedback.
Requirements
- Native Hebrew speaker with fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical writing.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Preferred: Experience with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
- Preferred: Familiarity with WCAG, Section 508, Standard 5568, and PDF/UA standards.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in document remediation or digital accessibility.
- Preferred: Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Qualifications
- Academic or university degree.
- Students with at least 2 years of university studies are encouraged to apply.
