Job Description
- Implement new payroll projects, including payroll system conversions for clients 💻
- Process payrolls across multiple states for various clients 🌎
- Research new regulations and ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local requirements 📜
- Examine and improve existing payroll procedures within assigned projects 🔍
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service 🤝
- Communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, and project members to meet expectations 🗣️
- Manage projects as a project leader, reviewing procedures, profits, and client expectations, renewing agreements, and training team members 🎯
- Participate in internal projects as assigned 📝
- Perform other duties as needed 💼
- Work remotely with independence and accountability 🏡
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating professionally in Japanese and English 🌐
- An associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 🎓
- Full-charge payroll experience or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory ✨
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word 📊
- Experience with ADP Comprehensive Services (payroll and Time & Attendance) is a plus 🛠️
- Experience with multiple payroll processing for various companies is advantageous 🏢
- Strong project management skills, including prioritizing, multitasking, and time management ⏱️
- Customer service mindset and understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements 📋
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills 🧩
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing IT environments 🔄
- Resilient and flexible in handling new projects and challenges 💪
- Aptitude for working accurately in fast-paced settings ⚡
Additional Details
Anticipated Start Date: June - July 2026 📅
Salary: $43,000 - $73,000 (Base Salary) + Profit Sharing 💰
Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-time (40 hours/week) ⏳
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm (Eastern or Central Time) 🕘
