🔍 What You Will Do

• Collect, total, and post employee work hours for weekly payroll processing 🕒
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely; coordinate with payroll vendors as needed
• Reconcile hours entered in the system with payroll journals and correct errors
• Enter start and end times into payroll software
• Verify that all mandated and optional deductions are processed correctly
• Handle unemployment, disability, employment verification, and salary inquiries for current and former employees
• Investigate employee questions related to payroll issues
• Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

🎓 Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's Degree preferred

Work Experience

• Minimum two years of general office experience or one year in payroll required
• Strong mathematical, customer service, and problem-solving skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Excellent verbal communication skills required

💰 Pay Range

USD $19.73 - USD $23.66 per hour
