🔍 What We Are Looking For:

Position: Patient Relations Specialist (Full-time, Bilingual Polish)

Location: On-site, Arlington Heights

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

🎯 A Typical Day Looks Like:

• 🤝 Greet patients professionally and courteously, both in person and on the phone
• 📞 Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls as necessary
• 📝 Assist patients with check-in forms, maintain accurate records, and handle payments
• 🔒 Perform clerical account processing while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• 📅 Schedule and confirm clinical appointments using Medics Premier
• 📋 Verify order details including name, exam type, referring provider, and authorization status
• 🤝 Collaborate with internal departmental teams for administrative support
• 🚶 Notify technologist of patient arrivals and assist with patient flow
• 💼 Understand insurance protocols for referrals, authorizations, co-payments, and deductibles
• 🛂 Obtain authorizations for scheduled services, providing necessary clinical documents, and notify if financial clearance isn't achieved in advance
• 🔧 Perform additional duties as assigned
• 💪 Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, lifting up to 15 lbs, reaching, and stooping throughout the day

📚 Education, Experience & Requirements:

• 🎓 High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• 🩺 Prior experience in medical or office settings preferred
• 🖥️ Data entry and word processing experience
• 📖 Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
