We are seeking a dedicated Patient Registrar with Russian language skills to ensure a smooth patient registration process at our Brooklyn location. If you enjoy helping people and have healthcare administrative experience, this opportunity is for you!

Job Details

• Location: Brooklyn, NY 11215
• Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 16:30)
• Duration: 13 weeks, with possible extension
• Pay: $20 - $26/hr (without benefits)
• Work Environment: In person

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  • One year of clerical experience in a primary care or multispecialty medical office
  • Customer service experience
• Skills:
  • Data entry of 4500 keystrokes per hour
  • Effective communication, telephone, computer, keyboard, and customer service skills
• Knowledge: Understanding of health insurance benefits and requirements
• Language: Fluent in Russian

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients courteously and tactfully
• Obtain and input all relevant patient demographic and insurance information into the computer system
• Perform insurance verification checks for Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross within the Medical Group billing system
