Job Description: Patient Care Advocate & Growth Manager
The Patient Care Advocate & Growth Manager plays a vital role in leading patient retention, engagement strategies, and expanding the MSO (Management Services Organization) in the Tampa market. This dual-role combines strategic oversight with hands-on patient advocacy and community outreach to foster seamless access, education, and support throughout the healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
Patient Care & Engagement
- Lead and implement patient retention, loyalty, and experience initiatives within the market.
- Serve as the primary Patient Care Advocate, providing direct engagement, advocacy, and support in Wellness Centers.
- Develop opportunities to grow the MSO business through community and provider outreach.
- Oversee onboarding of new patients, ensuring welcoming first‑visit experiences.
- Guide patients and families in navigating insurance, appointment scheduling, and care coordination.
- Address and resolve social, financial, cultural, linguistic, and medical barriers to care.
- Support service recovery by documenting complaints, coordinating resolutions, and following up.
Wellness Center Programming & Engagement 🎉
- Plan, coordinate, and execute activities to boost patient engagement and social integration.
- Promote Wellness Center events aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor attendance, participation, and engagement outcomes.
- Utilize culturally competent approaches for outreach and education.
- Facilitate activities encouraging self-care and preventive health behaviors.
Community Outreach & Growth 💼
- Support community outreach efforts to strengthen patient engagement and retention.
- Identify opportunities to increase MSO presence and partnerships.
- Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholder groups.
- Represent InnovaCare and Waters Medical at outreach events.
- Assist membership growth initiatives, such as "Refer a Friend".
Leadership & Continuous Improvement 🔍
- Operate with managerial responsibility, demonstrating leadership through market ownership and performance outcomes.
- Support leadership with data collection, reporting, and program evaluation.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure aligned execution of strategies.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills 🎓
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years in healthcare, advocacy, community engagement, insurance, sales, or counseling.
- Experience in supporting patient retention, engagement, and service recovery.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and insurance processes.
- Bilingual in Vietnamese and English.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt.
- Proficient in computer applications and data management.
- Committed to ethical standards and confidentiality.
