About Us

We are a new, dynamic, private equity-backed healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality care to our community. Our Patient Advocate / Enrollment Specialist will enroll eligible hospital patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP) at our Manhattan hospital partner.

You will be responsible for clearly presenting program requirements to patients and families as well as advocating for patients' needs. The Patient Helper Program helps high-cost and medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries afford employer-sponsored health insurance using additional Medicaid benefits.

Job Responsibilities

Client Coordination

  • Create positive relationships with patients and serve as the onsite contact for our organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, hospital personnel, and other key stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, Psychology, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
  • Preferred five years of hospital or patient-related experience.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for working with diverse groups.
  • Proven success in sales and healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish-speaking skills are a big plus, with fluency preferred.
  • Onsite availability most days with a flexible schedule to accommodate patients.
  • Must pass hospital credentialing, including vaccines, drug, and alcohol testing.
  • Experience with NY Medicaid is preferred.
