About the Role

• Job Title: Korean into English Patent Translator

• Content Areas: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics
• Expected Weekly Volume: 2,500 - 5,000 words
• CAT Tool: XTM
• Employment Type: Freelance

Main Duties 📝

• Translate patent-related content from Korean into English, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed clearly and is readable for the target audience. Style consistency is key.
• Follow project instructions, including translation process protocols and CAT tool usage.
• Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

Qualifications & Requirements 🎓

• At least two years of experience translating and reviewing patent content.
• Native-level fluency in English (target language).
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform translation, copy editing, and MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing).
