Job Summary

The Passenger Service Agent provides a wide range of passenger and customer services, including reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, terminal check-in, gate operations, greeting passengers, VIP handling, assisting passengers with special needs, addressing customer complaints, and other assigned duties.

Pay Rate: $21.50/hour 💰. This is a part-time role with potential to transition into a full-time position in the future.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese (both written and spoken) is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities 🤝

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation 📝
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight disruptions ✈️
• Handle baggage processing, including fee calculation if applicable 🎒
• Assist passengers during arrival and check-in, offering support for special needs such as unaccompanied minors, VIPs, and wheelchair assistance 🧳
• Guide passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine processes 🚪
• Make public announcements as needed 📢
• Support Ramp Service Agents by ensuring wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags are ready for loading and delivery 🚶‍♂️
• Comply with all security regulations and company policies 🔒
• Operate equipment including jetway, computers, and reservation/ticketing systems 💻
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation 📂
• Perform other duties as assigned 🔧

Candidate Profile 🌟

• High School diploma or GED equivalent 🎓
• Must have an Enhanced ID to obtain an airport badge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport 🛂
• Passionate about customer service with relevant work experience 💼
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the country-specific language 🗣️
• Additional language skills are a plus 🌐
• Dedicated to continuous improvement 📈
• Self-motivated and able to work independently ⚡
• Meticulous and numerate 🧮
• Ability to follow processes and adapt flexibly when needed 🔄
• Proficient in typing and learning airline reservation and ticketing software ⌨️
• Willing to work in various weather conditions ☔️☀️
