Role Overview

As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will:

• Become a trusted advisor to our German-speaking partners, maximizing the value they derive from our platform.
• Facilitate partnership agreements efficiently, focusing on growth and customer success.
• Support fellow sales teams by resolving key technical issues for partners.
• Collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams to stay ahead of industry trends and recommend product enhancements.
• Drive the partnership program forward, enabling and teaching regional partners to achieve proficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist partners in evaluating if Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) aligns with their needs.
• Develop and present product messaging, highlighting CDP's value using whiteboarding, slides, demos, white papers, and RFIs.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept with CDP in partner environments.
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, and platforms, providing best practices to optimize CDP deployment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Four-year degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited university 🎓
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally ✈️
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken 🗣️
• Experience with Big Data, PaaS, IaaS, and developing scalable, distributed systems
• Background in web application development and integration solutions
• Experience managing joint business initiatives and co-sell programs
• Strong knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Impala) and data management principles
• Familiarity with GenAI and traditional AI concepts from a pre-sales perspective 🤖
• Understanding of Linux, Web 2.0 platforms, networking (DNS, TCP, Firewalls), and cloud architectures (VPC, VPN)
• Experience with platform integrations and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and think strategically to support client growth
