Responsibilities

The Department of World Languages and Cultures regularly seeks qualified instructors to teach in elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses in:

• Arabic
• Brazilian Portuguese
• Chinese
• French
• German
• Hebrew
• Italian
• Japanese
• Korean
• Russian
• Spanish

Additionally, culture-focused classes taught in English are also available. Appointments are made on a per term basis, with positions available throughout the year based on enrollment and departmental needs. 📅

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required
• Previous teaching experience required
• Ph.D. preferred

Pay Range

The rate for Customized Language Instruction (CLI) is $1,185 per student for a standard 4-credit course. A 1-credit course is prorated at $296.26 per student.
