Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a pluralistic Jewish day school serving students in grades 6-12 in the Bryn Mawr, PA area, part of the dynamic metropolitan Philadelphia region. Position: Part-Time Hebrew Teacher & Advisor

Starting September 2025, we seek an experienced, dynamic, and caring educator to join our community as a part-time Middle School and High School Hebrew teacher and advisor. The ideal candidate will:

• Foster a growth mindset in students
• Create an inclusive environment where students feel safe to take risks
• Pursue professional growth through teamwork, development opportunities, and collaboration
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to teaching middle and high school students

Desired Skills, Experience, & Education

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in Middle and Upper School education
• Completion of Bishvil HaIvrit (NETA) training or willingness to complete it this summer
• Ability to teach Hebrew at different proficiency levels
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, collaborative attitude
• Positive work ethic and reliability
• Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in technology such as Google Workspace, presentation tools, web navigation, and email management
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (note: no sponsorship provided)
