Southern California Gas Company is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Customer Service Representatives who are fluent in English and Cantonese, Korean, or Mandarin. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of customer service experience and excels in managing high call volumes in a dynamic environment. 😊

Customer Service Representative

As a CSR, you'll be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing end-to-end support on a wide range of service requests.

Physical Demands

Very Light: Occasionally lift or carry items like dockets, ledgers, and small tools weighing up to approximately 10 pounds. The job involves mostly sitting, with some walking and standing as needed.

Environmental Conditions

Office setting with background noise from colleagues and regular contact with customers via telephone. 📞

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous customer contact experience
  • Proficiency in operating computers and peripheral equipment
  • Valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-qualification exams, including a Clerical Test Battery (Customer Contact) and customer service inventory test
  • Qualify through a panel interview
  • Fluency in English and one of the following: Cantonese, Korean, or Mandarin
  • Complete formal Customer Service Representative training successfully
