Requirements

• Language: Full proficiency in Vietnamese and English (bilingual). Capable of assisting and translating for Vietnamese-speaking customers.
• Mindset: Goal-oriented with a focus on service standards and efficiency.
• Food Safety: Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Punctuality: Reliable with a consistent record of arriving on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and move supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Handle food with strict safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
• Serve customers efficiently at the cashier station, providing friendly and professional service in both English and Vietnamese.
• Manage cash register operations, accurately processing transactions and handling payments.
• Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of stock needs.
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods with food prep or serving as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning of the kitchen, equipment, and prep areas after business hours to meet health and safety standards.

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in a food service environment (restaurant, catering, or culinary) is preferred.
• Experience in cashiering or waiting tables.
• Proven ability to provide customer support or translation services in Vietnamese.
• Proficiency in cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation.
• Knowledge of dining standards and restaurant operations.

Employment Details

Type of Employment: At-will employment — either party can terminate at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Pay: $16.90 per hour

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience: At least 1 year in customer service and 1 year in cooking (required)
• Languages: Vietnamese (required)
