What You'll Be Doing

  • 🤝 Engage with Clipper customers in face-to-face interactions, providing essential support and assistance with their Clipper card needs.
  • 🎫 Issue new Clipper cards and process transit value transactions using a custom Point-of-Sale system.
  • ❓ Address a variety of inquiries regarding the use of physical and mobile Clipper cards for Bay Area transit.
  • 💰 Manage cash, commuter checks, and credit/debit card payments during your shift.

What You Bring to the Role

  • 🗣️ Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese.
  • 🏙️ Residency in San Francisco, CA, with a willingness to work onsite at the Embarcadero BART Station.
  • 💻 Basic knowledge of Excel and computer usage.
  • 💵 Experience in cash handling.
  • 🧘 Ability to manage and deescalate customer service situations effectively.

  • ⏰ Part-time hours: 20-25 hours per week with 5-hour shifts.
  • 🗓️ Work schedule: Monday to Saturday (Saturday presence is required) within 7 AM - 7 PM; on Saturdays from 9 AM - 2 PM.
