Acer Is Hiring An Order Fulfillment Specialist

Join Acer America Corporation, a dynamic and rapidly growing computer hardware company nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual passionate about supply chain operations to fill our Order Specialist role. 🚀

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly high-level planning sessions to address future forecast gaps and current shortfalls.
  • Own customer demand planning by analyzing historical sell-in and sell-through data, along with maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure accurate forecasts for ongoing products.
  • Administer product launches at both customer and SKU levels, advocating for account timing and load-in needs.
  • Develop business proposals aimed at increasing sales revenue, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Manage purchase orders for materials supporting your forecast plans.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with teams such as Product Management, Business Management, and Supply Chain to gather key insights.
  • Ensure timely and accurate forecast submissions within each cycle and accommodate out-of-cycle adjustments.
  • Assist in managing product lifecycles by collaborating on inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and transitions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for various teams, including executive leadership.
  • Work with multiple teams to track orders, demand-supply matching, and commitments.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and database skills to diagnose issues and support ad hoc business decisions. 📊

  • Excellent communication, including written and presentation skills.
  • Experience with demand planning software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably in order fulfillment or demand planning.
  • Proven Microsoft Excel skills, comfortable with CSV imports/exports, PivotTables, VLookups, etc.
  • Familiarity with online portals and software.
  • SAP ERP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
