Job Title: Operations Manager
Overview
This position is responsible for analyzing processes, procedures, and financial information to develop effective plans, policies, and budgets. The goal is to maximize profits, optimize space utilization, and enhance service delivery while maintaining positive customer relations. 🤝
Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee activities related to warehouse management and logistics.
- Financial & Budget Coordination: Lead financial activities, ensuring excellent customer relations, maximizing investments, and increasing efficiency.
- Customer Relations & Growth: Maintain and foster relationships with customers to promote organic growth, service quality, and retention.
- Performance Monitoring: Review financial statements, sales reports, and performance data to identify areas for cost reduction and program enhancements.
- Leadership Development: Build and develop key leadership talent within the organization to establish a solid succession plan.
- Communication Strategies: Implement communication plans to keep employees informed about business performance and their contributions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support cooperation across departments to boost overall productivity.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to all legal and HR policies.
- Leadership by Example: Lead with integrity, setting high standards for accountability.
- Travel Responsibilities: Travel to other regions as needed to support business efforts.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Materials Management, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. (Preferred)
Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive responsibility leading complex organizations.
- Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
Knowledge
- Strong P&L (Profit & Loss) management experience.
- Expertise in Logistics, Operations, and complex business processes.
- Experience in contract negotiation, quality management, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
Skills & Abilities
