Sparks Group is partnering with a purpose-oriented financial services organization in search of a (Bilingual English and Spanish) Operations Experience Associate to support daily operations, member account management, and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration. This role is perfect for detail-oriented, process-driven professionals dedicated to providing exceptional member and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Account Management

  • Open, maintain, update, and close member accounts with a focus on documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor member records for completeness, accuracy, and timely updates.

🔹 Compliance & Regulatory Support

  • Ensure adherence to standards such as BSA, AML, and internal policies.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or suspicious activities as needed.

🔹 Operational Support

  • Support process documentation, updates, and improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist enterprise teams with posting errors, inquiries, and deposit account clarifications.
  • Help update procedures including international debit card processes, dormant accounts, and escheatment workflows.

🔹 Member Experience

  • Collaborate with the member service team to resolve inquiries related to accounts and transactions.
  • Manage communications via the credit union mailbox, respond promptly, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

🔹 Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Work closely with finance, lending, and IT teams to ensure seamless workflow integration.
  • Process online requests using designated tools and platforms.

🔹 Reporting

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute operational reports to support internal controls and performance insights.

Qualifications & Background

  • Availability to work regular business hours with light after-hours communication as needed.
  • Hybrid schedule: in-office 2–3 days per week.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields.
  • Preferably experienced in a credit union or international financial organization.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction processing, account management, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Familiarity with BSA, AML, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; process management experience is a plus.
  • 3–5 years supporting operational functions, projects, or high-performing teams is advantageous.
  • Experience with core banking systems and financial software.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFS) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish 🗣️📝.
