We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual to deliver exceptional service to our Italian-speaking guests in the vibrant city of Lisbon.
About the Role
This position is with a leading international hospitality brand founded in France in 1990, renowned for comfort, welcoming design, and great value. Over the past decade, the group has expanded threefold, now operating more than 865 hotels across 17 countries. 🌍
Your Mission 🎯
You will provide high-quality support to Italian-speaking guests, handling inquiries via voice and email channels, and ensuring a professional, personalized booking experience. Working with international teams, you'll help enhance guest satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue, while supporting the UK team as needed.
What You'll Do 🛎️
- Deliver an outstanding reservation and customer experience, accurately matching guest needs with available products and offers.
- Answer questions about hotel details, prices, reservation policies, and payment options.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings using excellent communication and listening skills.
- Manage guest accounts, loyalty memberships, and payment-related topics.
- Utilize internal tools and systems effectively to support seamless customer journeys.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and motivate team performance.
Training & Onboarding 📚
- Duration: About 7 full-time working days (8 hours/day)
- Language: English
- Includes: System and product training, customer communication techniques, and integration support
- Training compensation: €185.60 per week, payable upon successful completion
- Employment begins on the last training day or the next working day
Work Conditions 🕗
- Full-time: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day + 1-hour lunch break)
- Starting date: 01 May 2026
- Schedule: Rotational shifts, Monday to Sunday, including:
- Weekdays: 08:00 - 20:00
- Weekends: 08:00 - 18:00
- Location: Lisbon, Portugal
- Trial period: 1 month after contract signing
- Holidays: Portuguese public holidays; work on holidays grants a compensatory day off
- Annual leave: Up to 20 days in the first year, increasing to 22 days thereafter
Salary & Benefits 💰
- Base salary: €768.00/month
- Additional allowances:
- Christmas: €64.00
- Holiday: €64.00
- Meal allowance: €7.00/day (approximately €154.00/month), with a meal card
- Optional benefits: €200.00/month apartment benefit
- Health insurance: From Day 1
- Total gross compensation: Approximately €1,050.00/month or €1,306.66 with housing benefit
- Contract type: Fixed-term (12 months), renewable, and convertible to permanent after 2 years
Requirements ✅
- Native or fluent Italian speaker, with excellent English skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (spoken and written)
- Customer-focused, empathetic, and attentive to guest needs
- Ability to adapt to dynamic, multicultural environments
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
