The Role: What We Are Looking For 🌟
We seek a highly motivated, mission-driven Operations Associate who demonstrates responsibility, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and strives for operational excellence. No Hebrew language skills are required, and we strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.
Key Responsibilities 🛠️
Administrative & School Systems
- Greet students, families, staff, and visitors warmly and professionally
- Manage student information systems such as PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Compass, and ParentSquare
- Prepare and track compliance documentation for local, state, and federal requirements
- Handle procurement requests, inventory, and supply distribution
- Support event planning, vendor coordination, and office environment standards
- Track attendance, meal sheets, and administrative records
- Oversee enrollment processes and family engagement activities
- Coordinate student transportation with district and external vendors
- Take ownership of additional projects supporting school operations
Student & Family Engagement 🤝
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and staff
- Manage family communications via ParentSquare—ensuring timely, culturally responsive messaging
- Promote a culture of service, reliability, and respect
Attendance Support 📝
- Assist with daily attendance tracking, reviewing tardy and absence notes
- Manage attendance compliance notifications and documentation
Communication & Management
- Operate the afternoon front desk professionally and proactively
- Maintain effective communication with leadership, staff, and families through various channels
File Management & Compliance 🗂️
- Organize student records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Securely manage sensitive student information and documentation
Ideal Candidate Profile: Who You Are ✨
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in school operations or administrative support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with SIS platforms is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish fluency is a plus
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds
